My two girls have attended Endless Discoveries for 4 summers and 1 full year. I have checked out other day cares and never as satisfied as I am with Endless Discoveries. Anytime there were issues I talked with Kristin and we came up with a solution!!! Very satisfied parent! K.B.
After touring many area daycares, I decided to enroll my daughter in Endless Discoveries. I felt that they offered a clean, safe, fun and upbeat learning atmosphere for her first daycare experience at 2-years-old. I haven't regretted this decision at all! She has now moved from the 2 to 3 and now Younger Pre-K classes and her teachers have been wonderful to work with and my daughter has learned so much! Best of all, I can look in on her throughout my busy workday via the Kiddie Cam's in each room. ED has also done a great job of putting together family fun days and holiday celebrations, also encouraging the parents to get to know each other. They do a fantastic job, stop by and check them out! M.R.
We are grandparents raising a grandson. Endless Discoveries Child Development Center was one of the best decisions we made. He has been here since he was 2 ½ years old. The staff here are all super fantastic with him. He has really grown over the past year in Mrs. Misty's Private Kindergarten Class. With the small classes there is extra time for each child s needs. I only wish they had a 1st grade class I could send him to this year. He will continue here for the before and after school care. All of our thanks to the teachers and staff for a great experience. The Wilkerson Family
I have two kids that attend Endless Discoveries. My daughter has been with the director of the center, Kristin Shirley, since she was operating out of her home and my daughter was 4 months old. She is now 4 years old. I have also enrolled my son since he was 8 weeks old. He is now 21 1/2 months old. I just love this center. It is operated more like a learning facility than a daycare center. The classrooms all have curriculum for the students, including the infants. The staff is loving, caring, and personable. My daughter has an amazing amount of knowledge for a 4 year old and mostly in part due to the care and education that she receives at Endless Discoveries. I can't say enough nice things. They offer meals, video cameras, private kindergarten, music, computer, and exercise classes, and part-time care. If you live in the area and need good childcare, I highly recommend that you visit this center. Anitra Holmes
My children have both attended Endless Discoveries since they were 12 weeks old. My daughter is now 6 and my son is almost 2. I have never once worried about the care they receive while at Endless Discoveries. I know the daycare will inform me if anything is wrong and keep me updated on their progress. My daughter also attended the private kindergarten and I believe that gave her a wonderful base in her schooling. I would recommend Endless Discoveries to anyone. K.W.
Our family highly recommends Endless Discoveries! We found this child care center while house hunting due to a job relocation. We toured many centers but we knew as soon as we met the staff that this center was for us. They greeted us, answered all of our questions, and gave us a tour. They were welcoming, friendly, and beyond helpful. The staff welcomed our three children and made them feel comfortable right away. The transition of relocation was so easy because of the staff! We are approaching two years at the center and couldn't be happier with our experiences here! We highly recommend this center! Angie V.
Our two and three-year-old have attended this center since they were 12 weeks old and we have nothing but positive things to say about Endless Discoveries! The director, Tina, and all of the teachers and staff are very communicative, engaged with the children, and show a genuine interest in their well-being. In addition to your child receiving excellent care, they are also taught essential skills that will help them in being successful when they start school. Those skills include counting, phonics, and another important skill that is often overlooked- manners! Keep up the good work Endless Discoveries!
My four-year-old has been attending Endless Discoveries since December, 2016. She is a HANDFUL to say the least and the teachers and staff have been nothing short of amazing. They have continued to work with her despite how difficult she can be throughout the day. We have seen so much progress with her and I know it's because of the teachers and staff. They never call me during my work day to let me know my child is acting up, (which was a problem I had at other daycares), they handle her with care and love and help her right along. They always communicate with us at the end of the day and in the morning on what has been going on. We couldn't be happier with Endless Discoveries. We had so much trouble with other centers and this is EXACTLY where God wanted her to be. You guys will never know how grateful we are for all of you! Erika B.

Every child has the right to decide who they feel comfortable hugging and when. It's important to give your child permission to politely say no if they don't want to hug or kiss someone. Help them find words to be able to express politely that they don't want to hug someone, such as "No thank you," "High five!," or "Fist bump instead?"

Give toddlers some crayons, and they start scribbling randomly. The more they scribble, the more they are able to control the crayon and its movements across the paper. As they learn to control their scribbling, they start creating shapes, which eventually become the shapes necessary to write the letters of the alphabet.

If we surround ourselves with people who are just like us, we have a tendency to have less empathy for others who are different. Empathy can be developed, and as parents, we have a responsibility to our children to guide them toward understanding how others feel and being compassionate. The core of empathy is curiosity, so when your child is curious about someone who is different, help him see the value in that person.

Pre-teen years can be challenging for parents as children are striving for more independence. One thing that is really important is a nutritious diet, and it is especially critical for a tween's overall physical and mental health. Limit the snacks in the pantry, and encourage your tween to drink water instead of soft drinks.

Our goal as parents should be to guide our children toward self-sufficiency and independence. Life lessons can start when they are very young with age-appropriate chores. Allowing a toddler to help match socks gives them a sense of accomplishment. Waiting until the child is a teenager to teach basic life skills often is not effective, and the child ends up feeling overwhelmed by daily responsibilities.
